The original M.2 drive that came in my laptop cant hold a candle to this one. It worked great and served me well up until I spilled orange juice on that brand new laptop. Now while I wait for asurion to replace the laptop I sit by and pray that itll still work after when the laptop comes back. If not Id happily buy a new one. This M.2 Drive was as simple as plugging it in the motherboard slot and using windows 10s partition manage to create a simple volume on it. Keep in mind I was just trying to use the drive as an expansion to existing memory. I see a lot of people trying to use it as their main boot drive. That in itself is a more complicated process then I feel like googling.

I bought this recently I have been pleased with the speed. It is my first NVME and I was shocked at how small it is. I have had no issues with this drive at this point and I hope it stays that way. It is fast and I love that there are no wires to connect.

I bought this drive to upgrade my sons gaming laptop to 1Tb. The first drive lasted 1.5 years. But I thought maybe it was just a fluke. So I purchased another one. The second one only lasted one year. I tried to go through the samsung website for warranty support, but it always give an error when trying to report the issue. I will never by from samsung again.

Im not very computer savvy, just an average Joe. I replaced a standard hard drive with this bad boy. I had no problems installing the 970 Evo. You might need to buy a screw to hold it in place. I downloaded Samsungs software to transfer data. Chaged a few settings in the Bios and voila, dun.

Purchased the 250gb one with an Asus prime B-450 plus and Ryzen 5 2600. Works great and the build boots and is at your desktop within 10-15 seconds.

Moderate gamer, but those Oculus CV1 games can require huge downloads. Had to add a M.2 heat sink in my Alienware R5 and adjust the fans to keep M.2 temps in the safety zone. Great speed and should last like the previous one from Samsung.

My GL552VW-IH78 allows only PCIE NVME SSD so it very easy to replace with it to this 1TB SSD. I used it for OS partition. Now when I run many windows apps it is even faster. Not help internet network speed, of course, since that bottleneck is network bandwidth and not SSD speed. If you copy large files from this SSD to regular SATA hard disk it will be limited to the 2nd slower disk speed, of course. I am very happy since this costs me only $112. The box says production date is 4-19-2022 (Made in Korea) and today is only 5-26-2022 and I received it. I downloaded Samsung magician (download url is in box booklet). I already have the most recent firmware so no need to upgrade.

Replaced a slower 500GB drive on a15 HP spectre 360. The installation was super easy. Used a Vantec external usb case along with the free Samsung migration software. I failed to include the recovery partition initially, but super easy to resolve that issue by clicking on all source partitions and rerunning the data transfer.
