Thats to directly copy the existing operating system and other content from the existing NVMe SSD to the new one, using the Samsung clone utility.

I have had a SSD in my gaming rig for a good long while. When the time came to upgrade I decided to get a M.2 drive and this one popped up. Installation was a breeze and most motherboards support the socket these cards need to take advantage of the increased boot speeds youll get replacing an older mechanical hard drive. I use this primarily as a OS boot drive and have my game installs located on another. Performance is there and I can see the difference verses older technology. Very happy with my purchase.

I came from a SATA drive so I was amazed at how much read/write speed I gained. It is noticeable in games and even in windows. Magician and data conversion software from Samsung makes installing and monitoring the drive very easy. I caught a sale and got the heatsink 2 TB model for less than 200 USD. That is cheap for the upgrade I gained. I have used Samsung drives in my builds for the past 10 years and have had zero problems.

Just as previous generation nvme drives, these perform as anticipated. No complaints, Samsung quality is always high. I also see improvements in gaming performance compared to the factory drive in my laptop.

So I wanted to leave a positive review this came in only a few days and I was searching for a memory device to upgrade in my PlayStation and I kept going to all the game stores and the prices were outrageous. I looked on Amazon. I found this card I found the 1 TB version and the 500 GB version but also the 2 TB version I didnt see any reviews on the 2 TB version but I thought I would give it a shot, I dont know much about installing things but I just looked on YouTube and I installed it in under 10 minutes. Id say with barely any experience in this stuff I installed it turned on my PlayStation and I now have 2 TB of storage to use. This is definitely pretty awesome. I highly suggest it for the price and how easy it is to install

Little bit overly priced, but it’s got that Samsung name tied to it. Does the job as described.

I recently upgraded my gaming PC with the SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen 4 Gaming M.2 Internal Solid State Drive, and I must say that it has significantly improved my gaming experience.

The ssd is super easy to install following the instructions on ps5 YouTube channel. Make sure you get the right size screwdriver to open the ssd slot and change the position of the screw. Takes less than 5 minutes. The system must be updated to the latest firmware update BEFORE you format the drive, otherwise it will not have the same read speed. Format the drive and it’s ready to go. Very fast and all games are playable off it (ps4 and ps5)

Moved all my games from ps5 to this and it works so smooth. Highly recommend this product. Download and upload speeds are just as fast as the console. Great buy.
