Greater than one weekGood drive, a heatsink is recommended if you are a using it for photo and video work as it gets toasty in a laptop chassis. Mine came with latest firmware.

> 3 dayUsed it in an HP notebook PCIe gen 3 and worked perfectly, at 3500 Mbps sequence read and write. No problem with the temperature for the moment.

> 3 dayFYI if Running Intel 10th Gen Processors this will not run at its full speed potential. You need an 11th gen Intel chip or newer to take full advantage of PCI-4.0 NvME slot (which this chip is really designed for) Also recommend downloading the Samsung Magician app to install and optimize this drive.

> 3 dayI only get a write speed of 540 MB/s and a read speed of 1.5 GB/s and the price dropped rapidly after I bought but I was unable to cancel my order despite over a week of delays before shipping

Greater than one weekIn total, I have three of these now. Two are in Z690 motherboards (one with an i7-13600K and another with an i5-12600K) and the other is in a Z390 (i5-9600K). For the i7 machine, the SSD is in the M.2 slot connected to the CPU directly and for the i5, its connected via the chipset. After running Crystal Disk Mark a couple of times there is no performance difference (indiscernible or otherwise) between the drive connected to the CPU directly (with the i7) and the drive connected to the chipset (with the i5). Both get close to 7GB/sec read times. Write times are about 4.5GB/sec, which is way faster than anything I need. Even though Im not totally blown away by their performance, theyre still very good SSDs.
