My pc loads so fast now I can be in game less than 2 minutes after turning jt on so thats a plus, especially if youre stuck using something of lower quality, HUGE DIFFERENCE!

Purchased and installed in an Intel NUC8i5 and it works as expected.

I use the 980 in an external drive usb-c adapter, so the speed of a 980 Pro would not be utilized. Saved myself ~$80. Installed Fedora Linux on it and the install was quick and it boots fast. Havent benchmarked it; I dont feel the need, but it contributes to a snappy feel to loading apps and booting up. Good value.

Paying more for the Samsung NVMEs has proved its worth to me. The price of the 980 is reasonable. When I try to clone or migrate my Windows 10/11 OS using any other software from one NVME to another, comes out to be unbootable. Samsung migration software always works, period! When doing a speed test on this particular NVME the 980 was a bit slower than my previous 970 plus. Whether one would visually or physically note a difference in the speed I would doubt.

Purchased to use as a replacement in a Macbook. Worked perfectly with a slot adapter card and using the disk utility restore process.

If youve heard about some memory makers mix and matching components, Samsung does not do this. Price is competitive, and I trust the manufacturer

Works just as described, Installation was very easy and after a quick youtube search on how to correctly set up the storage device on my PC, were off and running! I no longer have to worry about which game to delete off my hard drive. I was also able to easily split games between each hard drive through steam. Awesome product!

This thing is so fast. Even though I turned off fast startup on windows (It didnt let me shut down my computer with it on) it still boots up my PC within the minute.
