    I have an older laptop with a spinning disk HDD. It was very sluggish due to the slow storage medium. Now with this SSD installed, it is very snappy and things load much quicker. Highly recommend it for the price and capacity.

    I replaced the barracuda pro 1tb in my omen with this. Well my hard drive was the very best in its class. So i didnt see much of a difference.

    Fast. Easy to transfer your data using the Samsung transfer software. I went from a 1T HDD to this 500G SSD and the software will let you choose what to transfer for so it will fit on the new SSD. For me I just left out my photo library and it worked great. Transferred everything else with no problem.

    So far no issues. Used it to replace a 1TB spinning rust drive that began having weird wind up noises. Didnt want to take my chances and successfully transferred over all my files (simple copy paste, no software required after formatting the drive properly). So far, its been behaving perfectly.

    Just installed my new 1TB Samsung EVO SATA III Internal SSD and moved my Windows OS installation to the new drive. Holy cow!! Computer boots almost instantly now. Used to take a couple/few minutes for everything to load and start-up. (Yeah, its the anti-virus). One of the best upgrades that Ive ever made on this computer.

    It was not easy to install in my desktop T1500 Dell. Nothing realy fit even though I bought an install kit. But i am not too worried that it installed with just 2 screws because it does not have moving parts. Had a time moving all my programs and data from my old drive to new one but that is not the fault of the new drive. Overall i think it is a good product.
