Unfortunately, I dropped my SSD on several occasions but it’s still going strong. I’ve been using it with a MacBook Air 2020 to run apps externally and perform other operations. It’s really fast, never really overheats in my opinion and it’s made my work easier. I just advice that you buy one with the right storage and you should be good to go

I wanted to have backup files of photos and music and this ssd drive is fantastic. Works quickly, easy to transfer files and a great price for 1TB of memory. Very pleased.

Excellent hard drive, and even more irresistible at the boxing day sale price. The speed is blazing fast and this has the potential to revive your computer if you install the operating system on it. Can also be used as a scratch disk when using in Adobe applications. Samsung SSD software that comes with it is pretty great and gives you an option to encrypt it and update firmware. I am docking a star because I wish it shipped with a backup suite so that automatically when connected to computer it would back up a specific folder. Otherwise I kind of have to do that myself, which is annoying as that is the whole point of a backup drive.

I have three of these and have had no issues. They are fast if you are using new Apple computers.
