> 3 dayMy T5 works great all the time, and its older. This T7 sometimes takes several minutes (2-3min) to allow me to access my files, even though I see it on my computer after plugging in. When it finally works, its very fast. Samsungs customer service is a maze and almost impossible to get in touch with, even though my 3-year warranty is still valid. Ive been trying to get help for over a week.

> 3 daySuper satisfied with speeds. Doesnt get hot at all. Great product so far and has warranty from Samsung. No need to do anything to get it to work with Windows 10 PC. I have used it on several of my computers and just plug and plays.

> 3 dayThis is the 2nd one I own to use. I love them so much! This one I used to install the game World of Warcraft so there will be lots of room left on my laptop and it works beautifully! Just make sure nothing covers it in any way and you should be fine. Can get hot but never had any issues at all.

> 3 dayMy 2019 iMac has a HDD that has been severely bogged down: taking a long time to boot up, 5-10min (sometimes more) to startup Apple Music, News, Zoom and other apps. It was turning into a brick. It got even slower once the Big Sur OS was installed. I needed to changed to working off an SSD. I saw tutorials on how to remove and replace the HDD with an SSD, but it looked way too risky in damaging the screen and the internal components of the iMac. So, I decided to get an External SSD. I decided to get the T7. 500GB seems enough to hold me over for a few years.

> 3 dayDrive worked well for about a month then it started running hot, draining batteries (laptop, ipad) even when the devices were asleep and the final straw was it not releasing disc space. I could have gotten an el cheapo brand if this was going to be the result...

> 3 dayIt’s fine for anything 20gb and under. But if using for ps5 and moving games over, it overheats and fails. Won’t make it last about 20 gb. Cools then starts the cycle all over again.
