    When I went to access my tax files, the drive came up as unformatted. I tried different usb ports and another computer but it always ended as unformatted. I was able to find a recovery tool and managed to retrieve my files. I tried Disk Drill which found the files but wanted a hefty sum to retrieve the files. Next, I had success with RUndelete which is free and much faster than Disk Drill. I have made a backup copy and placed it on an HDD as well as this Samsung SSD.

    I needed extra memory for my laptop to download games and stuff, and wow. This is a great memory, it has worked and it allows me to play without a problem. I like this

    Ill be completely honest dont bother if your planning on using it for gaming. I used it for my xbox and it wasnt any faster loading anything if it is its not even noticable. At first I thought it was because it felt like it transfered my games a little fast from Hd to ssd but when I tried a bunch of games that load slow they still loaded slow and it was hot as hell so its not a good one for gaming at least

    Use the drive on my xbox one x. Significantly decreased load times on gaming. Plug and play. Great alternative while waiting for next gen consoles become more available.

    The Samsung ssd t7 does not work with my galaxy s10 + Ive read all reviews on product and I should have never bought it I will be sending it back for a refund

    Excellent for Time Machine (Apple) backups. I keep this connected to my computer continuously for the hourly automatic backups. The initial backup, which with a half-terabyte of data is always slow, took only 20 minutes on this device, the automatic backups are so fast I almost never notice them occurring.
