I use it with my new M1 MacBook Pro. I am glad I bought the Samsung T7 and plan to buy another. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

> 24 hourMy T5 works great all the time, and its older. This T7 sometimes takes several minutes (2-3min) to allow me to access my files, even though I see it on my computer after plugging in. When it finally works, its very fast. Samsungs customer service is a maze and almost impossible to get in touch with, even though my 3-year warranty is still valid. Ive been trying to get help for over a week.

> 24 hourI have had external drives for music, video and system backups for years and now that Ssd is affordable and USB C all my external mechanical drives are history. Transferring 100s of gigs is so fast. Cables included are a little short but that’s no big deal. I hope reliability is good. I’ve only had one external drive fail on me, but I am nuts about redundancy in backing up everything.

> 24 hourWorks just as expected, like all HDD/SSD’s the actual storage space is slightly smaller then what’s advertised the one I got was about 100G shy of 2T. Has incredible read and right speeds. I used mine for videos and it works great, can play on x2 speed with no latency.

> 24 hourI had purchased this to free up memory on my PS5 by moving my PS4 games to this external drive. At first I couldnt get it to work as the PS5 kept telling me it wasnt fast enough. Then I found another review that stated to ONLY works with the supplied USB cords that came with the samsung drive. So NOTE that you can NOT use this external drive with your controller usb-c.
