> 3 dayI use this in my Tesla. It is compact, light, and unobtrusive. Storage capacity, write speed, and form are spot on. Would recommend.

> 3 dayI was in need of a replacement for my old external 5,400 rpm hard drive... this wasn’t too bad for the price and I didn’t need that big of a backup. I think what sold me was the read and write speeds... well, come to find out this drive isn’t any faster than my ten year old unit. Very disappointed. I realize my Mac isn’t brand new, and therefore I didn’t expect top speed, but it’s just painful.

> 3 dayIve used a T5 drive for backing up my MacBook Pro via Carbon Copy Cloner for about a year. But I wanted a faster drive for photo and video editing. Enter the T7. I almost didnt buy this SSD due to the many awful reviews saying it overheats and makes Macs go bonkers. The drive works great with the supplied cables, but I picked up a short Thunderbolt 3 cable (Cal Digit and Plugable are great options). T7 works just as well as the supplied cables and gives me a little extra length. The drive stays cool even when transferring multiple gigabytes at once. This drive is just as good as the T5 and twice as fast. Buy it!

18-11-2024A well built external SSD. I went with the 500GB option as I wanted data redundancy for my work related data. Not the fastest, but excellent build quality and adequate data read / write speeds for work related data. Wanted to buy a USB C flash drive, but happy I went went with a more reliable external SSD. When it comes to protecting your work, data storage decisions should not be made on price or unproven brands.
