Received this nifty little SSD, it is so small and very portable, the speed is incredible too, not much else to say at the moment its all the things I was looking for in a portable SSD. Let me use it for a few months and see how the durability is.

I bought this because my old backup drive fell on the floor and got messed up. It was quite a bit smaller than this one. I figured as long as I was replacing my old one Id bump up the storage capacity. So far so good: I plug it in and it works. Being able to pay for it on the installment plan was convenient

Faster than SATA internal SSD speeds, but in a very compact credit card size, thats so easy to carry around. On my USB 3 Gen 2 ports and above, I easily get consistent 950-1033 MB/s reads and 900-980 MB/s writes.

Avoid Samsung SSD T7. My experience is similar to the experiences others have had with this product. Specifically, SSD causes computers to over heat. The SSD also gets extremely hot! The issue does not correlate to i/o or computational load. The issue occurs the moment the SSD is attached to the computer. Interestingly, the Samsung T5 does not have these problems. It is my conjecture that the T7 is simply an overclocked T5. If my suspicions are true Samsung is engaging in very shady business practices. Please do your self a huge favor and avoid the T7 as it will ruin your hardware.

using it for dashcam storage. took a few tries to get it formatted and recognized, but seems to be running well now. working much better the thumb drive it replaced.

This thing is pricey, but worth it. It is crazy fast and literally does fit easily in your pocket. If running long copy operations, it will get a bit warm, but not hot enough to worry about. SSD is also pretty bomb-proof, so this will be much more reliable over time than an HDD drive.

I liked that it was easy to set up for my gaming console extended storage. Very fast as well.
