This is the perfect backup drive for my needs. I plugged it in, did a NTFS format, and assigned it to my backup program. Everything went as planned the first time around and finished in record time for my system. No Hassles.

It works perfectly. Compact and durable, and the speed is superb.

The product is good. But beware of buying if you are in Singapore. Samsung Singapore does not cover the Warranty if the SSD is not local set. Samsung Singapore allow the serial number to be registered on their warranty website and shows it is covered. But this doesnt mean the warranty is covered. You have to contact them to find out if the serial number is local set or export set. If it is export set, no warranty coverage.

Très compacte, facile a ranger et à manipuler

Ive had many external HDDs and now SSDs, using one at a time and replacing religiously every 2-3 years even if Im not having problems with it. WD hhds would generally go the full 3 years with no problem and then I got a Samsung T5 and loved it. At about 2.5 years it was still working superbly but I knew it needed to be replaced - my work files are too important to risk.

I have many thousands of photos redundantly backed up on external hard drives. Theyre terrific but big and not realistically portable since they need to be plugged into the wall in addition to the computer. This little 1Tb SSD fits in my pocket and doesnt require external power. Its fast enough (1050MB/s) that I can easily do do complex edits straight from the drive. Very cool little device
