> 24 hourImpression based on first couple hours use, so might change, but, so far, really an excellent drive (seemingly better than the T5 Id been using for a while even by appearance--I do realize that, theoretically, T7 should be about twice as fast.). One thing I did find surprising was that this drive came with exFat format from get go. Cant complain since it does make it readily usable for an Android phone/tablet out of box.

> 24 hourI have several T7 drives now. These are essential computer components. Some of them have permanent jobs while others are floating drives used for different things at different times. They make great boot drives if you need to test various versions of operating systems. I boot my Mac into Windows and my Windows computers into other versions of Windows. The speed is exactly what the manufacturer promises (around 1 GB/sec). You cant do much better than that with USB 3.2. If you spend twice as much you can get a bit more performance but its not worth it in my opinion for an external drive. The T7 drives get warm but not hot to the touch with frequent use.

> 24 hourI bought this so I can store all my pictures in one place. And it works great for that. What I did not expect is that it is lightning fast! Im using it on a two year old MacBook Pro and I cant tell the difference in response time for items stored on MacBook internal storage vs. the ones on the external drive. Please note that the device is very small so dont lose it.

> 24 hourI have many thousands of photos redundantly backed up on external hard drives. Theyre terrific but big and not realistically portable since they need to be plugged into the wall in addition to the computer. This little 1Tb SSD fits in my pocket and doesnt require external power. Its fast enough (1050MB/s) that I can easily do do complex edits straight from the drive. Very cool little device
