    I soon thought of more uses for this SSD drive so I bought another one. You can carry a lot of data in this small package without worrying about the fragile nature of a typical spinning drive. And it’s very fast. Of course you need to connect it to the proper type of high speed connection to get the maximum speed it is capable of. Plus, it works very well to save files from my iPad Pro using the camera connect kit.

    At the beginning of owning the drive I had no issues but after almost a year with no damage to the drive, wire, or computer the ssd disconnects and reconnects back to back. Some times it would disconnect after seconds, others it would be minutes. Then this would repeat. I would not recommend this drive.

    I have purchased several of the Samsung portable SSDs. This is the first 2TB version that I bought. Its great. Reads and writes data quickly. I have actually purchased a second one to archive my music and photo files.
