The SSD overheats easily with any extended amount of use. While synchronizing 1TB of Google files it overheated and I had to put a fan on it to keep it cool. It frequently disconnected and re-connected and caused many file corruption errors, prompting Windows to ask me to check the drive for errors and run a checkdisk.

I use these drives both on my Xbox Series X and my XBox One X.

I read some of the negative reviews and have not have those problems. First my MacBook did not warm up. The drive is a just a bit warm, not uncomfortably so. SSD backup drives are more expensive, but I got this to replace an old, noisy external hard drive and am glad I did. This little guy is silent and smaller than the track pad on my 14 MB. Its been backing up the MB for a week now just fine. It opens Time Machine files without the delay I experienced with the old drive. Ive never owned an external SSD drive before, so I cant compare it to others, but I am happy with the purchase.

I paid extra because of the red color and I just received it and it a rust color......ugggg

This does exactly what I wanted it to do. I primarily use it for editing and storage of all my video files. It is very fast and zippy. The only thing is, when editing, it does seem to run hot, and I don’t know if that will over time effect performance. Something to keep in mind if you want to use this for editing.

Never had a hard drive that could copy data so fast. 1 terabyte 8 hours.

Works great, easy configuration fir the password, fast read for files and pictures. Small size can fit in your pocket, lightweight. So far no issues, I used in mainly for backing up files

The SSD had problems doing a backup of many files with Windows. Stopped at some point and did not complete the copy. Same problem even after repartitioning and reformatting the SSS to NTFS.

Works as expected. Solid item.

I use this SSD mainly for video due to it`s speed. It`s built very well and it`s very small and portable. I got it during Black Friday and it was a great deal. I would highly recommend it
