This ssd is super fast. Plus, it features a usb-c port which is very convenient both because it is reversible and all my devices are usb-c. So one cable for everything! So happy!

Apparently, I got assigned a password when I never intended to have one, but I cant find out what it is, so all I can access is the tiny setup partition and not the storage space. Even my super-smart tech guru couldnt fix this, and he told me to get the WD brand and just throw Samsung away. I foolishly bought two of these expensive portable SSD T5 hard drives. Samsung: Never again! Ill hang on to these for about a month or so just in case someone out there reads this and knows how to get to the storage space. Im sticking with WD from now on.

This is plugged in to my pc to take all my pics and down loads which I can then take with me on my travels. No complaints

Read & write performance is very quick. I plan to use it primarily as a backup drive, but I suspect that Ill also use it as a primary drive.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this drive. Simple and fast.

I forgot I never reviewed this and I’ve had it for about 2/3 years now. At first I used it on an Xbox one which only had 500Gb so the storage update was huge. Last year I got a series x so I moved it from the Xbox one to the SX to store my old games on it and store new games on its internal storage for faster load times, and also you can’t store SX games on this I believe. Now this year I built a gaming pc and to save money I bought a 500gb nvme ssd for it, I ran out of space quick. I figured I could use this Samsung ssd for the pc so I did and it works great. Whenever I download a game it gives the option of my internal ssd or Samsung ssd and i believe you can install any game on it unlike the SX. This thing is a beast I highly recommend and if there’s newer models go for those instead.

I got thos to use as an external hard drive and for backing up my laptop. Works great and is really qick for copying files.
