A day after purchased Samsung T5 2TB,the price went down.I dont have a way to ask a refund for the difference, which is a bout 30$.I will never buy again electronics.I love the T5 , but I will return it because the price I paid 30$ more. I use for backup my mobile Android phone and laptop using Win PE.

I bought the 1 TB size Samsung because the 500 GB model I’ve been using for a few years has been reliable, fast and convenient. I am using this primarily as a backup drive. Pairing with PC has been flawless. I am not using any of the encryption features.

Very portable very fast.worth the money!

I just finished backing up my computer with over 700GB of Data in less than 30 minutes. I first connected it to my laptop and ran the setup wizard to setup a security password. Keep in mind you better not lose the password because it says if you forget it you most likely will not have access to your saved data and have to reset it and basically format the drive if I read the fine print correctly. As for the drive, Im super impressed and imagine their are even faster options out there, but this is the first portable SSD Ive used as I have several older regular (non SSD) portable backup hard drives and it would take hours to do the same. Very pleased and highly recommend. I used the USB C port on my laptop and have a 1TB SSD in my laptop as well for full context that likely helped the fast data transfer.

Amazingly fast and quiet. Love it so much!
