> 3 dayI got this to allow me to transport video from my various devices and locations. The upload and download speeds are fantastic and the time saved versus using a standard portable hard drive is significant. Its compact and easy to carry in your pocket and because its a SSD you dont have to worry about shaking it like you do a standard hard drive.

> 3 dayIve only had this drive for two or three months but now it wont load most of the time on my Macs (27 desktop and my Air). I thought it had died, but then if I leave it plugged into my computer, it will occasionally resurrect itself - mount. It wasnt dropped or abused in anyway. It gets very warm after having been plugged in for more than 10 minutes - perhaps that is the problem.

> 3 dayI love this drive. Although I’ve only been able to bench mark 750mbps read and write, it’s still blazing fast for me. I’m using a 2019 MacBook Pro 13” i3. The aluminum enclosure stay pretty cool, looks cool too. 5yr warranty with data recovery gives me peace of mind.

> 3 dayI purchased the 500gb Extreme Pro for use with my Xbox One X. The Xbox refused to let me use the drive for game storage and the only error I could find was This device is too slow (0x80bd003b). After spending over 2 hours trying to troubleshoot, format the drive, troubleshoot some more, reformat, etc... I finally benchmarked the drive only to discover that the sequential read/write speeds were around 40mbs when connected to a USB 3.0 port on a Macbook Pro. I decided to try another 3.0 cable for the heck of it and, go figure, the same benchmark test speeds increased to around 300mbs and it now magically works just fine with the Xbox. The culprit is clearly the USB-C to USB-A cable that was included with the drive. The USB-A connector is blue, implying that the cable is at least 3.0 compatible, though I do not see that actually stated anywhere in the product listing. If it is supposed to be a 3.0 cable, the QC here is absolute crap. If the cable is not supposed to be 3.0, considering the connector color and the fact that the product listing does not state that any additional equipment is required in order to achieve USB 3.0 speeds (reasonably implying out of the box compatibility), this product listing is dangerously bordering on fraud.

> 3 dayEspecifican claramente que la lectura del disco es de 1050mb/s cuando lo real es 340-370mb/s, simplemente aberrante. Mejor comprar la versión regular extreme, que tiene la misma capacidad de lectura; o comprar otra marca.
