At 68 years young, a lifetime of slouching has finally bitten me.....in the back. Ive tried several posture braces over the years just trying to correct (or remind me to correct) my poor posture for cosmetic reasons; but recently Ive started having a good bit of pain in my upper back because of lousy posture. Other braces Ive tried have been either terribly uncomfortable, or ineffective, or both. First off, a good posture brace is not going to be super comfy because, if it is and you dont notice youre wearing it, its not helping. But other braces Ive tried have been uncomfortable in areas that had nothing to do with my upper back and shoulders, like across my middle or under my arms. This one is very wearable and really helps. It has alleviated a LOT of my pain, and it really has helped me to remember to pull my shoulders back even when Im not wearing it. I highly recommend it! Im very small, but it fits fine and has plenty of room for a much larger person. Its big enough to be supportive but not so big I feel like Im wearing a full suit of armor. Love it!

Difficult to put on

I have scoliosis and this product has helped me with my everyday posture. I wear it when I’m sitting at my desk working or playing games and I have noticed a difference in my posture, especially while wearing it. I do feel discomfort after wearing it for a long period of time but I just loosen the straps a bit. It helps me with my posture on my upper back but not as much in the lower portion, overall I’d say this is worth the purchase and a benefit to my positioning when sitting at my desk.

As a child, I was diagnosed with Scoliosis (a sideways curvature of the spine) and as a result, my posture was never perfect. As an adult, I spend 60+ hours at my desk, and my posture was further deteriorating. I decided to try the Schiara Posture Corrector. At first, it was uncomfortable because my muscles and tendons had settled in a slumped position and the corrector works to retrain and realign the muscles to their proper position. Over time, it became more comfortable, and my posture has improved immensely. It does work, but it does require commitment on behalf of the user.

Im 58, self-employed, running two businesses, both of which have me working in front of a computer and I almost always forget to wear my glasses. This has led to poor posture. Really poor posture.
