> 24 hourThis is approx. 10mm pieces of pumice which is one type of volcanic rock mined in western USA states. If you live in those areas it’s very inexpensive, but living in eastern areas of USA, shipping can be extremely cost-prohibitive. I use pumice for my succulents (I have amassed an extremely large collection—hundreds). I order it in 3-gallon bags from General Pumice for around $30–the majority of that cost is shipping which is included in the price. That same 3-gallon bag would cost approx. $6 if I lived closer to where it is mined. It comes in a variety of forms—almost powdered tiny granules for making your own DIY exfoliating products (just add it to your body or face wash and viola!) and many other sizes and forms. So if you have a lot of tanks, this will save you a lot of money. I’m not affiliated with the company in any way; I’m just a grateful and loyal customer. In my opinion, these tiny jars are a huge rip-off. It’s a great product, just exorbitantly over priced.

> 24 hourI have used this in my 125 gal reef tank for two years in a 5 stage canister filter. I have two 304B canister filters and one of them is just totally full of this and it is working wonders for my tank! One of the best purchases I have made since Ive been in the saltwater/reefing hobby.

> 24 hourThe amount of media you get for the price is just ridiculous. Seachem seems to be getting greedier every year.
