This device works great with my PS4. The only issue ive come across has been if the drive takes a hard bump youll get a message that the data has been corrupted but once it reboots it seems to work fine. I’ve experienced this a few times but haven’t lost any game data as of yet..(fingers crossed). I would highly recommended this to any PS4 users who would like to free up space on their console which seems to help it run smoother and faster. I’ve heard that customer support is responsive and willing to do what it takes to make this a sound investment for gamers on the go!

Recently I picked up a PS4 Pro and quickly was filling up the console storage.

Device died in less than 10 months seagate says warranty expired after 8 months for some reason, thing is junk and they dont honor their 1 year of warranty as a manufacturer

Great drive, compact, easy to use, no problems.

Now can have tons more games saved.

Needed extra storage on my PS4. This HDD works great and very easy to use.

Like many others on here, my 4tb version just stopped working. My children were in the middle of playing Portal Knights when an error occurred. Went to restart the playstation and the drive was completely dead. Cant even get my computer to recognize it. You cant hear the disks spin at all. Lost all my digital games!

Tried a few times wouldnt connect

Was pretty easy to setup and has worked great at expanding memory storage so I dont have to fill up the internal storage on my PS5.

Have only used it a little but I noticed that right after I installed it on my PS4 the PS4 menu now stutters and is delayed as I scroll through. My screen saver does the same. Have not noticed any adverse affects to game play. Also you cant just unplug it, you have to go into system settings every time and deactivate it before you can unplug it because PS4 has only 2 USB ports. So if your playing a game and using wireless headphones which takes 1 USB plug and mid game you need to charge your controller you now have to pause game, deactivate external hard drive, then use your charger. Its inconvenient, but I blame that more on Sony for only putting a lousy 2 USB ports.
