My network attached storage devices both died within a month of each other. Rather than spending the money for a new network attached device, I bought this Seagate 2tb Backup Plus. Set up for use as a Time Machine backup disk is not as simple as “plug and play”. But it was pretty easy and worked like a charm. The set up instructions say that it has to be reformatted for use with Time Machine but that happens automatically when you map it as your backup disk. Added benefit - having the drive connected directly to my MacBook makes the backup process run much faster than when I was backing up to a network storage device.

Unlike most USB hdd this one is fast and has no problem loading games, ( as what i am using this for is a backup and game storage device) Runs Detroit become human and other new games quickly. Thought it would take forever to load and it does the opposite. Well worth the dollary doos.

The drive plugs in and you can start right away. You can unplug the drive and keep the data isolated. Easy, fast and convenient. Getting a new computer? Get a seperate before you begin. Reasonable price and reasonable delivery of product.

Great to have .more than enough storage . Great price for that little insurance

I like the idea behind this device and the good reputation of this company and their components. That said, I have most of the details of this device worked out, but am not completely happy with it.

Llevo con el un buen rato y nunca me a fallado, me gusta mi disco duro. Tanto que compre la versión de 5TB de esta misma marca y me funciona igual de bien. Los utilizo para guardar material de foto y video de una BMPCC4K.

Super fast and good volume. Plugged it in and formatted on the PS4. Took about a minute or two and done. Excellent choice for the purpose. It’s basically the exact same drive as the game drive, but isn’t pre-formatted. Really pleased with this drive. Light and compact.

Great storage device. Inexpensive, versatile. No problems.
