I use this external hard drive daily for work. Our server at work is typically not accessible when I work from home, so saving files on the server is not worth the headache of repairing that ongoing issue. Thus, I use this hard drive every day. Its small and easy to take back & forth from work & home. Its fast, has more storage than I could ever use, and its a quality product that has continued to work as intended for over 3 years. And you cant beat the price for that. (Especially since Im hard on things; its been dropped a bunch and thrown in my briefcase daily).

Im a graphic designer/photographer and use these to back up my files and photos. Ive used Seagate over the years and prefer this because of its compactness and portability. The ability to function without a power source is a plus. My only complaint would be the controller feeding the SATA connectors. My last one failed and there are other complaints out there of dead HDDs. I had to purchase an enclosure to harvest a part for this to work again. Overall very good quality though.

Due to the size of this device can back-up my entire computer and have the ability to store pictures and other files just in case there is a problem with my main computer. Piece of mind.

I use this drive strictly for backups. It has enough room to create and store multiple system images quickly and easily.
