Sennheiser Professional e 609 Silver Super-Cardioid Instrument Microphone,Wired, Wireless

Had to return this cuz it didnt sound as good as the 609.. or a sm57. Its just a little too thin and doesnt have enough upper mid-range like the 57 does, but I guess its not supposed to. But just for me personally the 57 is more familiar and I like the thickness

Its a fine mic for your guitar amp. But, its overpriced. I did a youtube review of this vs the superlux and they are equivalent mics but the superlux is much cheaper.

Excellent microphone for the price. It is very good at cutting out any frequencies behind the diaphragm. This makes it excellent for live applications with instruments or even voice. it might not be a really high end, vocal mic, but in the considerations of using it for the live floor recordings it is excellent and can make a very passible master track ( with very little bleed!). Well worth of money.

Excellent microphone for micking a guitar amp, love the fact you can hang it over the cab and no mic stand is required. Well made and sounds excellent, I am of the opinion it has better frequency range and sounds better than the Sure SM57. Love it!

Excellent option to get my Super Reverb into the PA mix.

This microphones edge over an SM57 is that you can hang it from the top of your cabinet.
