I have a big Hoover vacuum Ive been using for years. Its great, but its heavy and annoying to get up and down stairs. Wanted to buy a more lightweight vacuum I could keep downstairs to tidy up regularly, but I was worried a lightweight one wouldnt do well picking up dog hair. I am pleasantly surprised by this Shark vacuum! Not only does it do a perfect job picking up hair, dirt, and whatever else, but it is soooo lightweight and easily maneuverable that it makes getting under sofas, tables, and beds extremely simple. The handheld option is perfect for getting my baseboards etc., and the cannister is easy to empty. I absolutely love this vacuum!

Up until this Shark HZ602 Ultralight Stick Vac, we have always owned a canister vac. Shark is my go to brand and we LOVE our high powered vacuum. It is several years old and hasnt lost any of its cleaning power. I was hoping for a similar experience with this vacuum. I do not have anything else to compare it to in the way of stick vacs. We never had the use for one as we always had carpeted flooring. We just recently had an entire floor of our home done in LVP flooring so I wanted a separate vacuum for that flooring. (so we can keep one vacuum on each level of our home) I really do like the look of the vac! Its sleek, stylish, and the Comet Red color is lovely. It isnt overly bulky, is easy to carry around, and doesnt take up much space. I am not thrilled with the fact that it doesnt stand up on its own. It has to be leaned up against a wall otherwise it topples over backwards. It would be nice if it came with some kind of docking station to help keep it upright when not in use. The cord is on the shorter side. This isnt a huge deal but I do have to relocate the plug to other outlets more often than I do with my other vacuum. The dust bin is VERY small. I may be spoiled by the large dust canister of our other Shark vacuum but for this reason, I would only use this for small jobs. There is no way I could clean the entire house, with aaallll of the pet hair, without having to dump the canister multiple times. I do love the hand held vacuum option. I have been using this a lot. Its lightweight and makes vacuuming our LVP stairs a cinch! The powerfins feature is quite interesting. I am ALWAYS cleaning and cutting hair out of our other vacuum with a bristle roller. Its a real PAIN! This eliminates that completely! The most important factor with ANY vacuum is the power and suction. This is where this product fell a little short for me. It is wonderful for using on a flat, even surface like LVP. It sucks up pet hair and other fuzzies with ease. However, I tried using it on an area rug and also our memory foam bath rugs. It just didnt do a great job. It seems to glide over the surface of the rugs, picking up any hair or fuzz that may be gently sitting on top, but it just doesnt get down deep enough to grab anything that has been walked on several times. This was a bit disappointing as our cats love sitting on those memory foam rugs for some reason. They get covered in pet hair easily and this vacuum just doesnt leave them squeaky clean like our other Shark. Overall, its still a good vacuum, but I would honestly stick to a canister vac as it seems to have more suction and better cleaning capabilities.

Its very top heavy, so it dosent even stand straight on it own. Also hard on wrists. Suction seems good for now but have only used a few times. We had older pet duo plus and that one was so much better than this. Whoever made this design, must not be vacuuming themselves

Love the vacuum cleaner its just what I needed and has a powerful suction. Works like new at such a good price.

Was a little skeptical about the shark vacuum cleaner being a stick turns out it works just as well as the big bulky ones great vacuum

So I bought this because the house I moved into over a year ago is 95% hardwood floors. I have some area rugs that and the carpet on both the stairs for the 2nd floor and the basement and a small landing on the first floor. This works great on both hardwood and carpet. The suction on this thing is strong, and it can complicated to use on small rugs to where the rug will get caught brushes. I do like the LED headlight are very bright so bright that I had to but my hand over them as I wash looking at how the powerfins worked and also the storage hook to store the handheld unit when not in use. It really was amazing how much this thing collected after only 1 day this made me want to vacuum daily now. The only issue I really have with this is there is no hose on this and if you do not use the storage hook, you will need to but this up on a wall because it will not stand on its own and the dustbin is small. But apart from those 2 cons the thing is great.

This was my second Shark corded stick. My first one was duo clean with front roller. Silly me thought this vacuum was also , it is not. Purchased the HZ602 June 2022 and it is basically shot now. Never completely picked up the dirt. Had to go back and forth over the dirt to get it. This past weekend it has lost 90% of suction power. This is after clean everything completely. It was only used downstairs for my hardwood floors , 7x10 rug and a runner. This vacuum never lived up to my first Shark and I am disappointed in the HZ602. You would think you would get more than 8 months out of a seldom used vacuum.

Everytime I vacuum I need to pull the whole thing apart. gets clogged super easy, but you wont know its clogged. Looses power and you end up just pushing the dirt around. It can barely vacuum a 20x15 room wit out having to stop and pull it apart. would not buy again

Bought this for my motor home. Perfect.
