Shark Steamer is perfect for keeping my vinyl floors clean.

The only real negative is something I finally figured out. I filled the tank with very hat water, mistake. Guessing there is a thermostat that activates with room temperature or cooler water. The directions did not specify, so made an incorrect assumption. It simply would not start steaming or dispensing any moisture. Think all that being said, a good product based on price.

I’ve been cleaning my floors by hand for a while now. I THOUGHT my floors were clean, until I used this! Dang! I did a second go around the next morning and the pad was still pretty nasty (didn’t snag a picture). I guess I’ll be steaming my floors daily until the pad is clear. Easy to use, pump it a few times to get the steam activated then it pumps itself as you move it across your floors. The review that say it’s too much work are just plain lazy people. Super simple.

It works well enough for a quick damp mop. I dont love it but Ill use it till it breaks. The cord is WAY too short - I have to plug/unplug at least twice for each room in my house (not a mansion). There is no switch to turn it on/off - just is on when plugged in and off when it is unplugged. This is nice if you like to see the sparks fly at your outlet, does nothing for me. After the initial startup, the steam is off more than on. I spend a lot of time waiting for it to actually steam again (5 seconds on, 7 seconds off kind of thing). Its basically a steam iron on a stick, but my iron doesnt stop steaming before Ive finished my trousers. Im actually getting more disappointed with Shark products all the time.

So easy to assemble. I love using this mop. It cleaned dirt I didnt know I had. My home felt fresh and my floors sparkled! Extremely affordable and great quality

This works fantastic especially with 2 large dogs tracking in mud. Only 2 things that I would change would be a longer cord (easily fixed by adding an extension cord) and a trigger for the steam instead of having the steam triggered by pushing the handle in. But still a great cleaner.

First of all I got sent this with only 1 cloth that attaches to the bottom and its published as having 2. I am hoping they will send me another one to replace it. I dont normally write reviews but the chord is definitely too short in case you have a big space be sure to have an extension lead or prepared for socket changes. It sort of heats but I am not sure whether its really to boiling point, you cant really gauge the temperature (& whether its at killing bacteria stage). Its okay, you can see it picks up dirt when you look at the bottom but lets just say it doesnt leave me feeling like its the cleanest floor in the world...in case you want that but it does an okay job- it gets the job done so to speak. To quote a former Prime Minister- a satisfactory response but pretty bland....urgh!

This is an affordable and high quality steam mop from Shark. It includes 2 easy to apply mop rags and everything you need to get started (Except water). There is minimal assembly, which involved clicking the handle into the base of the unit (no tools reqd). And some tap water for the tank, and youre off to the races. The steam powers through oils and dirt on tile floors better than any chemical Ive tried. And it leaves a noticeably clean feeling. The cord is plenty sufficient for my needs, and I was able to cover my entire kitchen and living room with only one re-plug. In the past, I had a different knock off steam mop which Id cheap-ed out on to save a few dollars. That old mop was very very hard to get a mop rag head onto and I struggled with it every time. In contrast, the system that Shark has come up with is a tremendous improvement. Overall, this product works as advertised, and is easy to assemble and easy to use. The cord length is great, and overall the product is of good quality and smart engineering. Would strongly recommend, and if you havent tried this kind of product before and have tile floors, this is a MUST.
