Easy and quick

I almost had to send this back. Had it put together in 2 minutes, very easy. Filled the water chamber, plugged it in, the little light came on and nothing.... I re read the instructions, I re positioned the water chamber, and then, I got so frustrated I slammed it on the floor and guess what?? It started working! Not sure what that was all about, but once it started working, I never had another problem. So thats why 4 not 5 stars. It did a great job cleaning my very dirty floors. I have 3 dogs who slobber and this works great on cleaning up their mess!

I’ve only used this once so far but I have to say that I like this steam mop very much! It’s easy to assemble, I didn’t even need the manual. Attach the mop head. All you have to do is plug it in and let it sit a minute. Once it’s warmed up you pump the handle about 10 times to get the steam to come through the microfiber mop. Push it forward and bring it back and if the floor looks damp you can start cleaning with it. I did my linoleum kitchen floor and then the linoleum in the bathroom. The cloths/mops came up filthy! I never considered a steam mop to be the answer to actually really clean the floors but in my house a steam mop is good for the in between cleaning. My house gets ALOT of traffic and we live in the country so mud makes it’s way inside with two little boys! I bought this steam mop because we plan on getting a puppy and my two boys make a lot of messes and this will definitely come in handy to mostly maintain cleanliness in my home! I liked that the cleaning mop head was of good size and that the pads fit on via Velcro and they stay on just fine! The head to the mop has some motion too and I was able to clean in corners. It worked just as well as I was hoping it would. For food stuck on I had to go over it a second time while the food had a chance to absorb water and soften. But it did it! No complaints and as long as this doesn’t fall apart, I would buy another one! If I experience any issues with this mop I will come back to update my review. But as of right now I am pretty happy with my purchase!

I went against some of the negative reviews because, lets face it, you cant please everyone. Let me first start with those negatives. Having had a previous version of the shark steam mop, yes the cord is a bit shorter. So move it to another outlet. Problem solved. You have to pump it. Well, it is not a vacuum cleaner that you just run across the floor. Youre not really pumping it when you push it. It pumps so smoothly, it is barely any work. Those were the only negatives I saw that I remember and now that I have turned those positive, lets move on to other great things about this mop. The pads are great. They are thick and way better than the previous version. It is not loud at all. My last mop sounded like I was trying fish. The reservoir comes out. My previous shark you had to pour into the reservoir and it didnt come out. This is great. The reservoir is way bigger too. It mopped smooth and even and was just great for the price. I think it should cost more. I love steam mops and I literally blew up my last one. My floors get super dirty. I have all boys in my house. Its quick, simple, takes less time, and doesnt make your arm sore. I absolutely love this!!!! I cant say enough. I probably forgot something, but I hope others will look past the negative people who can never be pleased anyway and see just how enjoyable it is to keep floor surfaces clean. Satisfying while using and satisfying after, looking at a freshly mopped floor.

I received my product in a timely manner. It looked as described. I filled the water tank, plugged it in, and waited the 30 seconds as instructed. I pumped the handle a few times to get the steam to begin. NOTHING HAPPENED. After several more attempts of plugging, waiting, and pumping there still were no results. I contacted Amazon for a replacement and they stated I had to put it in original packaging and THEN take it to the UPS store and put a label on it. Ok, but I opened the item & put it together FOUR days ago. I dont have the original package, and USUALLY Amazon says no box or label needed, just take to a UPS store. Apparently, this item is too large and/or awkward, to send without Amazon having to pay a bunch of money to accommodate the packaging for this particular item. So, the item doesnt work, I have to scrounge up my own box to repackage it, take it to a UPS store, and THEN Ill get my refund. And, I was VERY disappointed that I was not provided the chat option, and the lady I talked to said I only had to jump through about seven or eight hoops to get to chat. Ive been a VALUABLE Amazon customer for 6 and a half years now & I am very displeased with the customer service that I received for this particular item.
