I was looking for a way to clean my floors (tile and hardwood) with toddlers on the move, and wanting also to reduce chemical usage around the kids. I took a class through Better Kid Care that discussed the impact of chemicals on kids...needless to say, I decided to try a steam mop...and this light weight unit is just perfect! It heats up quickly...it was ready in about 60 seconds...its so light, I can hang it on my broom organizer and it hugs the wall. It was so easy to use, and the floors are so clean! I did buy 2 extra (sets of 4) of the cloth covers because I wanted them to be handy and ready to go (again...kids)! Im hanging a wall file chart holder above my broom rack to hold them and to be handy. The price was right...the quality was better than expected and it was easy to use. Im thinking about buying a 2nd one for my upstairs broom closet...Im sure Id keep the house even cleaner if the products were handy, and at a price like this...2 is not unreasonable. Great product!

Basic model but does the job. Buy this if you are on a budget and are not looking for anything fancy

I love the ease of the setup and how easy it is to use. The only issue is i think the cord could be longer, I had to keep unplugging to move around the house.

I have been curious about Steam Mops for awhile now and thought for the price - why not? Pros: Price and general quality of product; simplicity of the mechanics of a steam mop, and watching the steam actually come out of the body of the mop into the pad; Ive cleaned a few pretty dirty surfaces; but no tile grout areas like some of the impressive videos; generally I suppose I have a sense that I am REALLY cleaning something cause theres steam! Maybe its just a mind thing <smile> you know the power of suggestion. Cons: cord could be longer; and the element that you fill with water is a little sticky to actually remove; its almost as if you feel like your going to break something by having to force the water bottle away from the mop; every time I do this - I still feel I may break it. Also; the pad to clean the floor with is large with most of the steam actually exiting right in the middle - so I have found myself using a basic floor cleaner from a squeeze bottle in order to actually feel like I am getting my floors extra clean. I dont put anything other than water in the water-bottle for the mop - without the use of anything else; the floors do appear cleaned - and evidenced by the dirt on the pad. I might suggest purchasing a few extra pads so you can keep them clean. I toss mine in the wash - seems to work. Conclusion: I would recommend this model mostly for those who just want to give the ole steam mop craze a try; you cant beat the price for a basic-simple model. I may upgrade one day but for now - this works fine.

This is so great - I’ve been using it on all of hard surfaces (including sealed hardwood) this week. It’s amazing! You’re gonna be so grossed out by how dirty the pads look after you clean lol. I suggest buying extra pads! They hold up really well in the wash though.

THIS is the floor cleaning help I have been waiting for for years! Lightweight, easy to get going (water heats up in less than a minute), and cleans like a PRO. I have tile floors in the kitchen, entryway, hallways and bathrooms. All these areas get a lot of use and get dirty really fast after I clean them- so it was always frustrating when I was using a mop, pail, and water with cleaning solution. SUCH A PRODUCTION. Not to mention having to wait to walk in the wet floors (try telling a hungry teenage boy he cant go to the fridge because you just mopped). Now? I fill this thing with tap water, plug it in where I want to end my mopping (nice long cord- huge plus!), it heats up in a jiffy, a couple of pumps on the handle to get the steam flowing, and were in business! The first time I used it, I couldnt quite believe how easily it cleaned the floor and how much grime it was lifting even from the grout. Its that powerful. I love that it barely wets the floor, which means that it dries super quickly. Also a huge plus in my book- no more cleaning solution necessary! I have small dogs, so was always careful about what products I used because they eat from the floor- now I no longer have to worry that they might be lacking chemicals. And finally, I only have to store one skinny item, instead of three (mop, pail, cleaner). Whats not to love?!

This mop is so easy to use. Much easier than conventional mops. Leaves floors very clean with no excess water from steam. Quick Dry. Change pads easy if they become too dirty. Glad I bought it. Wont mop without it.
