Weve just got some flooring put in the house and we were struggling with using a mop bucket all the time. Using this is so easy and you throw the pad in the washing machine and youre done! Sometimes one cycle doesnt get out all of the dirt (or at least, it seems stained on there), but it isnt that big of a deal.

This is an affordable and high quality steam mop from Shark. It includes 2 easy to apply mop rags and everything you need to get started (Except water). There is minimal assembly, which involved clicking the handle into the base of the unit (no tools reqd). And some tap water for the tank, and youre off to the races. The steam powers through oils and dirt on tile floors better than any chemical Ive tried. And it leaves a noticeably clean feeling. The cord is plenty sufficient for my needs, and I was able to cover my entire kitchen and living room with only one re-plug. In the past, I had a different knock off steam mop which Id cheap-ed out on to save a few dollars. That old mop was very very hard to get a mop rag head onto and I struggled with it every time. In contrast, the system that Shark has come up with is a tremendous improvement. Overall, this product works as advertised, and is easy to assemble and easy to use. The cord length is great, and overall the product is of good quality and smart engineering. Would strongly recommend, and if you havent tried this kind of product before and have tile floors, this is a MUST.

I was tired or the old mop, tired of the water bucket, and tired of waiting forever for the floor to dry. This shark is awesome. You plug it in, lift and lower a few times to release the water (like an inch lift), and swipe on the floor....after a few swipes it steams and lifts all sorts of sticky/muddy/hairy/gross floor stuff. To shut it off, you just unplug it. And then the dry time is within 2 minutes! No bucket--theres a small reservoir that you fill with straight water (sometimes I add a drop or two of pinesol) and it lasts for a long fricken time. In comparison to the bucket and mop....this is easy, mess free, and fun. My 8 year old loves mopping with this.

I have been curious about Steam Mops for awhile now and thought for the price - why not? Pros: Price and general quality of product; simplicity of the mechanics of a steam mop, and watching the steam actually come out of the body of the mop into the pad; Ive cleaned a few pretty dirty surfaces; but no tile grout areas like some of the impressive videos; generally I suppose I have a sense that I am REALLY cleaning something cause theres steam! Maybe its just a mind thing <smile> you know the power of suggestion. Cons: cord could be longer; and the element that you fill with water is a little sticky to actually remove; its almost as if you feel like your going to break something by having to force the water bottle away from the mop; every time I do this - I still feel I may break it. Also; the pad to clean the floor with is large with most of the steam actually exiting right in the middle - so I have found myself using a basic floor cleaner from a squeeze bottle in order to actually feel like I am getting my floors extra clean. I dont put anything other than water in the water-bottle for the mop - without the use of anything else; the floors do appear cleaned - and evidenced by the dirt on the pad. I might suggest purchasing a few extra pads so you can keep them clean. I toss mine in the wash - seems to work. Conclusion: I would recommend this model mostly for those who just want to give the ole steam mop craze a try; you cant beat the price for a basic-simple model. I may upgrade one day but for now - this works fine.

It took a few minutes of pushing the handle down to get the mop to start steaming. However, once it started steaming all was well. This mop gets my floors super clean and that says a lot considering all of the animals and kids running through the house. I also love the removable water tank feature making it easier to fill without the big water mess.

This is so great - I’ve been using it on all of hard surfaces (including sealed hardwood) this week. It’s amazing! You’re gonna be so grossed out by how dirty the pads look after you clean lol. I suggest buying extra pads! They hold up really well in the wash though.

Never had a steam mop before but this is a great tool to use to clean the floors. only downside is there is no on off button and when I unplug it there is always a spark but so far so good!
