Sigma 30mm F1.4 Contemporary DC DN Lens for Sony E

This is the lens that barely leaves my a6600 body. It is a great allrounder especially if you are into street and urban photography. It is the most natural lens I have and comes very close to your actual eyesight which makes it very comfortable both indoors and outdoors (where the 56mm for example is a bit too much for indoors).

I have no issues with this Sigma lens.However I have been unable to register with Sigma UK for the 3 year warrenty.This is not UK supplied stock. Disappointed with Amazon!!

A must have for backdrop talking head video and using a teleprompter.

The lens is on the heavier side (which I like a lot to be honest) and looks razor sharp. The autofocus is amazing, which is no surprise coming from a product paired with a Sony camera. Focus is quick and easy, no image stabilization but thats okay for me as I use it for video creation on YouTube. All in all, couldnt be happier with a lens.

Not very happy with the lens. Autofocus is considerably sluggish and isnt stable. Whats more sad is that it keeps loosing the focus even when the subject is completely still.

Una buena lente, que se convertirà en un 24 mm al no ser full frame. Calidad buena por el precio. pero repito no es un 16mm en una full frame. A tener en cuenta...

I bought this lens for the wide aperture, but was completely blown away by how SHARP it is! Stop down to f/2.0 and you are faster AND sharper than any available emount zoom. Perfect.

Having purchased a NEX 5R a couple of months ago, I immediately began researching lenses to complement it. I didnt have the money to get the Carl Zeiss 24mm lens, but I have picked up Sonys excellent 50mm lens and wanted to pick up lenses on the wider end. Ive read many good reviews for Sigmas lenses, the 19mm and 30mm, and ended up picking up both lenses for around $100 each (sad to see that both appear to have been discontinued according to Sigmas web site, but I hope that does not discourage them from designing and offering more E-mount lenses for the NEX line). Both lenses have been excellent additions to my camera system.

Ich teste dieses Objektiv an der Sony a6300 und an der a6000. An beiden Kameras ist der Autofokus in Ordnung, an der a6300 jedoch nochmal merkbar besser. Bei Tageslicht sitzt er eigentlich immer, bei Nacht und problematischen Lichtsituationen muss man mit Fehlfokus rechnen, jedoch ist die Qualität und das Bokeh auch nachts sehr schön und zweiteres rund und gleichförmig.
