Sigma 30mm F1.4 Contemporary DC DN Lens for Sony E

Go for it if low light performance is you priority.It clicks some awesome night scapes.Potraits from these are just mind bogling.In short the beat 1.4 lens at this price point

I love this lens! :) The picture quality is sharp with nice colours and skin tones. The bokeh at f1.4 is lovely. I use it for landscapes, portraits, street photography, indoors, outdoors - it copes with alsorts and is my always on lens. The only problem with this lens is that you dont get straight lines when photographing walls and other straight lines on buildings, however this can easily be fixed in post with a teeny bit of editing. I also have the Sony 35mm lens and although the problem with straight lines is not seen with this lens, the sharpness and picture quality of the Sigma lens is superior.

I bought this for Bokeh and for night time photography. This is a good lens the metal build makes it bit on the heavier side. I am using it in ILCE-5000 fully compatible.

Super sharp, fast auto focus especially considering its non native glass, would recommend anyone looking for a staple prime.
