I purchased this 2.5 years ago to use with my Surface and it’s been fantastic, knock on wood. It’s small, fits perfectly in my computer bag, fast and accurate transfers to and from this drive. I’ve dropped it, traveled extensively with it and put a ton of data on it. It works so well I’m here to buy a larger volume drive and looked this purchase up so I can get this one in a larger size. Absolutely zero complaints

Well this applied to me. At first connection it did not work, BUT... open Disk Utility and click on the drive-- go to the erase tab. There is a pull down menu asking what to format it too, mine was ghosted but it did let me pull down to the Mac OS. click on that, hit erase and give it a new name--hopefully you are all set when it finishes.

I bought this to store more games on my PS4 and this did the trick PERFECTLY! There was no installation involved. Just plug it into the USB port on the PS4 and go into your settings to set it as your default storage. This thing is just right for more PS4 storage! It’s also small enough to fit in your pocket if needed to take it on the go! I highly recommend this product!!

Definitely bang for your buck. I have had it for about 4 days now and already have about a TB of games installed for PS4. Runs smooth to. No lag when playing games.

I wanted to back up my MacBook Pro and gain some more space. Since I dont have a USB3 port on the macbook, it took all night to transfer 200 gB. No biggie - its a passive endeavor. (Now if only I could clean the trash files off of my macs hard drive, Id be sitting pretty.) Oh yeah, I dropped it on the floor too and nothing happened. Its small. Its light. It does what it says it does. It was delivered quickly. It was reasonably priced. (Of course, these type of devices will continue to become less expensive over time.) The only quibble I might have is that it will take up some space in my laptop bag. Good stuff - buy one.

Says it’s “plug and play” for mac or pc but I had to reformat for my mac. Wasn’t hard but wish it would’ve just told me upfront that is very misleading.

Its been 7 years since I bought this hard drive and it is still working like new.
