Greater than one weekThis door stopper is very strong and does exactly what it needs to do. I accidentally put it a little too close to the door and I couldn’t get it to pop down and in an instant when I tried to reposition it, it already adhered. It took me 5 minutes with a butter knife to pry it off of the door and I almost bent the knife. So it is very sturdy. I feel completely confident that it will stop my toddler from opening the door.

> 3 dayThe house I live in is a rental and I just happen to have a sliding glass door and a four-year-old nephew who knows how to operate it. This child lock ended up being the perfect solution to keeping him inside despite his best efforts. I was worried about the thickness being too much, but after measuring everything out to make sure I had the clearance it seemed okay, so I cleaned off the door, peeled off the backing and just stuck this on. All in all, installation was incredibly simple, and this lock was way better made and sturdier than I had initially expected. The lock does generally require two hands to close easily, but you can do it with one if you really try. Opening it though is very simple and it pops open firmly with no issues. There’s only one setting, so if you want the door open different amounts you could line up a few in the door and use those as successive steps, but I’m fine with just having a lock “closed.” As far as versatility in use? I did try these on some sliding windows but they lacked the clearance to work on mine. It might be different for some folks, but I found this was a sliding glass door only solution. Not a problem really, because that’s what I bought it for, but something to note. Overall? These are great. The perfect way to child lock a sliding glass door with no screws or damage to the door itself.

> 3 dayI havent tried breaking this thing like an intruder would but I imagine it would cause a lot of noise. It stops the door on solid hits reliably though!

> 3 dayThis was the easiest install. Simply peel and stick. I was worried that the part was going to be too big to close my door, but its the perfect size to fit the gap when you open your sliding door. Ive toddler tested this product and its solid as a rock. No more escaping!
