Greater than one weekmust be used in a solid drill press for optimum results... If tried with a hand drill, it will dance all over the place because the tips are very sharp and travel before penetrating.

> 3 dayWorks best in a drill press, it has a tendency to tear out some fibers from the plug so you will end up with a few trash plugs, overall not bad but could definetly be improved

> 3 dayThe first thing I noticed was the finish was rough and did not have the matte or semi-glossy sheen of other plug cutters I have had in the past (and the one thats pictured). There were little bits of white gradoo stuck in the crevices like it had not been cleaned before packing. I wonder if a final step in the manufacturing process had been skipped. When I went to use it in my drill press, it seemed to need a lot of force to work into the wood. It also squealed and chattered. I honed the cutting edges which seemed to help a little, but sometimes it cuts well and sometimes it chatters like crazy., not sure why. Im considering throwing it out and trying something else, but it does work, just obnoxiously, so I guess Ill use it for now.

> 3 dayGreat results. The 3/8 size matches up perfectly with the hole left from the dewalt countersink bits. https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DW2535-Piece-Countersink-Assortment/dp/B0000225OU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1494871473&sr=8-2&keywords=dewalt+countersink+bit

> 3 dayFirst time using a plug cutter. I cut plugs from walnut, a fairly hard wood. Smoked a lot, so I would let up and go back, trying not to overheat the tool. It rounds of the end for easy insertion. Seems like a good price, I only needed 8 plugs, plan to use it more so time will tell. Would definitely recommend.

> 3 daySuggest limiting use to a drill press for stability. Plugs are nice to use but the counter sink depth needs to be more significant than a non-chamfered plug. Wood thickness could cause minor limitation in applications.

> 3 dayI used for my cabinets doors made out of Walnut hardwood. I was able to made 900 pugs easily and the bit feels like very sharp after that. I used my Ryoby press-drill and was very easy to drill 900 pieces. Very nice and excellent quality plugs. BUY IT!- Im a general contractor and used this brand for first time and Im very impressed.
