> 3 dayIm using this to cut out plugs for the mahogany porch Im installing at home. Use lower speeds as written on the package and put it in your drill press. It takes a while to cut several hundred of them, so I do it in shifts. After a while you will get the hang of how it cuts. Steady medium pressure.

Greater than one weekDoes cut a 3/8” plug cleanly and with a nice tapered end if you drive it all the way down. I’ve cut about 30-35 plugs in hard sapele and I have had no problems at al. I use my drill press on the slow speed- that’s important. And it cuts the hard wood well. It does heat up some after about our plugs I stick it in some water and start again.

> 3 dayThis cuts perfect plugs with a chamfered edge. Easy to use with drill press, running at 620 RPM. I wouldnt try to use this with a hand held drill.

> 3 dayI used this for creating wood plugs for a project with a handheld drill and was happy with the results. Im sure they would have come out better with a drill press, but I didnt have access to one. It does take some skill to find the right pressure and speed to avoid burning the plugs as they are cut, but generally felt successful using it and feel it really took my project up a notch.

Greater than one weekHave cut hundreds of plugs working on wooden boats. I would recommend to anyone that are looking for quality plug cutters and not want to spend a fortune.

> 3 dayThe sticker placed on the back of the packed covered instructions; the stick could not be peeled off without destroying the instruction. The instruction are available at the Snappy web site- except I wonder what the “DO NOT...” phrase said.
