> 3 dayI honestly am not a fan of Sonic. I was introduced to the series by the TV series, and what little I have played of the games... I wasnt very good at. Sonic Colors, however, is a VERY fun title to play. It had a nice douse of 2D styled gameplay and 3D alike. Each stage has its own challenge of skill, with great music, and rather pleasing sounding voice acting. Id recommend this game to all Sonic fans, and those wishing to give the blue hedgehog a test run.

> 3 dayMy son has been asking for a Sonic Wii game for months, and I decided to get this one based on the reviews about it being fairly easy to play. He loves it. Its a bit challenging for him, but not too difficult. Overall, I see many hours of fun play for him with this game.

> 3 dayAfter seeing a description of Sonic Colors on the Nintendo Channel, I decided to pick a copy from Amazon. Granted, its not the most challenging Sonic game I have, but the fun factor in this game makes up for that in many ways! Classic Sonic the Hedgehog fans should love this title, because it brings Sonic back to his roots. You play as the Blue Blur in a epic chase after his arch enemy, while busting up robots and freeing captured creatures along the way. Sonics little two tailed friend is also along for the ride, and the new creatures also provide our hero new super abilities that come in handy for fighting Dr. Eggmans newest contraptions. It only took me four days to get through this game, but the fun factor was major! The graphics are stellar as well! Its called Sonic Colors for a good reason! All Sonic fans should pick this game up. Its a must have for the serious Sonic game collector!

Greater than one weekSorry for the short review, but Ive only got one point to make. I am HUGELY disappointed. It claims to be a two-player game, but all that means is that one level off to the side allows a second player, and thats it. This is just plain deceptive. I got this to play together with my son. I have no interest in wasting time alone, and its not great for him to sit alone and play. Sure, we can all hang around and watch each other play. BORING!!!! Not recommended for family play.

> 3 dayConsole Sonic games have always been notorious for being horrible. Sonic Colors changes that. Presentation of the game is superb. Level selection is reminiscent of Super Mario Galaxy. Its easy to navigate and select worlds and levels. All without having to deal with horrible hub worlds that plagued all the past 3D Sonic games. The story is very light and not very serious. But the way its portrayed is like that of a classic Sonic game. Youll also find some actual funny humor in the game. Though thats because the writing is coming from writers of Happy Tree Friends and Madworld. The graphics are superb. Some of the best looking for the Wii. Everything is vibrant, colorful and very nice to look at. Now music in this game has got to be one of my favorite Sonic soundtracks ever. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the musical score. Most of the tracks are very catchy and fitting to their level. Even the level selection music for Starlight Carnival is over a minute in a half of original music that doesnt repeat (and not to mention very catchy). The voice acting is also wonderful. The voices were replaced with more professional actors, so now the dialogue sounds much better. Gameplay is the most important part about this game, and the one thing everyone was worried about. I have to say its the most fun Ive had with a Sonic game in over a decade. The controls take a few minutes to get used to, but they end up feeling very tight and fun. Way better than any other 3D Sonic game. Its classic 2D platforming with some 3D styled platforming. Gameplay also stays fresh with all of the Wisp abilities theyve introduced into the game. It never gets old and always feels fun to play. One thing that you need to watch out for is difficulty. It really ramps up later in the game and youll need to be prepared for it. Since they throw in some cheap deaths in certain spots. But that shouldnt hinder your intention of buying the game. Sonic Colors is a very fun game. One of the best Sonic games Ive played. Way better than Sonic 4: Episode 1 was. If youve been ditching Sonic for the last 10 years then you dont know what youre missing if you skip this game out. Its not in the same league as Super Mario Galaxy, but its a game thats well worth your time. More so than any other Sonic game out there. Pros: Gameplay Soundtrack Graphics Wisp abilities keep things fresh Cons: Steep difficulty near the end

Greater than one weekI love all of sonics games, and this one was more fun because its on the wii, most games that I have played are on another console so this was twice the fun than usual. I would absolutely recommend this game to friends and family that love sonic games. It has more excitment, more colors, more options... JUST MORE FUN...
