Sonic Colors - Nintendo Wii

I was always a huge Sonic fan when I was young. I had all the original games, 1-3, & Knuckles, Spinball, etc. But since the mid 90s I had not really played any video games regularly. I finally decided to buy a Wii, mainly to play some new Sonic as well as Mario games, and the old ones through Wii console. I was a little hesitant when buying this game. I loved the simplicity of the original Sonic games. They were simple, easy to play, but not EASY. meaning anyone could learn, but there was a sense of challenge. This one looked a little more complex than the originals, more like Sonic Unleashed or one of the other ones that came out on the Wii. But after many great reviews, I gave it a shot. I am very glad i did. The game is really fun to play. And just like the originals, it is easy to learn and pick up, but is challenging throughout. Ive had fun playing this game so far and Im sure I will continue to do so. I havent gotten all that far yet, so I cant comment on the ENTIRE game from start to finish, but I have advanced through a few levels. And all the ones I have conquered have been a blast

Ive enjoyed playing this game theres quite a bit to do and I havent quite finished it yet but its been a fun game to play and theyre certainly replay value and going back to levels and trying to get a better grade

This game is one of the few sonic games that really deserves the 5 star ranking. The unique level design, the great music and when you unlock certain wisps, you can go back to each level and play it differently. The only bad thing I see people complain about is the writing and voice acting. The bad puns, sonic sounding older like a 30 year old, that stuff. I never found the writing in most games important. I find the gameplay important instead of the writing. Really check this game out if it’s on sale.

Good price, great game, my 6 years old LOVES it ! It is chalenging for him, but not violet, good for young kids. And the best part it was delivered in 2 business days !!, I ordered on 12/15/10 & on the 12/20/10 already received it, well before Christmas, I was happy with that!!

While Short, this game was a blast to play. More 2D Gameplay than 3D, and I beat it the day it came in the mail. Took me about 5-6 hours. It was really fun!

My son loves it

I bought this game for my 5 year old son who is quite the little gamer and a Sonic fanatic. He was ecstatic to see it arrive and had me open it for him to play immediately. He has alot of fun with it and it appears to be a great game for a young child. I have not played it yet myself, but for his age it is easy enough for him to not get frustrated but still a challenge for him as he has not yet unlocked all of the levels. I think an older child may find it a little easy but still fun.

I bought this game based on Amazon reviews and they were right! Im not much of a Wii participant, but my kids gave it a full thumbs up. Graphics do look very engaging and my kids go for this game often after receiving for Christmas. (They are 10-14 yrs of age)

Got this for my five year old and he picked it up pretty well (at least the beginning levels). I even enjoy playing it, though not being familiar with Sonic games, it is a different experience being so fast paced.

I am going on my daughters opinion since I dont play video games. She loves this game and plays it all the time and is very picky about video games.
