Greater than one weekThe sound is amazing, especially when paired with a Sony Hi-Rez DMP. The Bluetooth connection frequently dropped and the latest firmware didnt do anything to solve the problem. Sony had no solutions. I purchased the xm4 as I want a Sony Hi-Hez headphone and have experienced one drop whereas by now with the xm5 I would have had 50. The 2.5.1 firmware states that it addresses Bluetooth connection issues ...

> 3 dayI ordered these and they came late. I ordered the SILVER colored ones but the black one was what was shipped. I was mad but then I put them on and loved them. They sound really good

> 3 dayReally good headphones! The only thing I would note is that it is not made for working out. The fit is not tight so if you workout and tend to do a lot of movement, this is not for you. Its also not water proof or water resistant so be careful with sweat as well. Other than that the noise cancelling and the easy access control are all nice

> 3 dayThe sound quality on these is really good, but not exactly up to par with some other comparably priced headphones. The difference really is very small though. The noise canceling and its associated features more than make up for that. If noise canceling is an important feature for you then these are the headphones to get. My favorite thing about these overall is just how comfortable they are. They fit all the way over my ear, which some other brands do not and end up being partially ON ear, which is annoying. The clamping force is fairly light, and the ear cups are breathable enough not to get too hot or sweaty while wearing them. Bottom line - I really love mine.

> 3 dayContinues on a bit of a muddy sound like the previous models, however the noise cancelling is superb and EQ options such as the custom Wavelet profile from soundguys make this an incredible all around headphone. Edit: After owning this for a few days Ive noticed some issues. Clicking on left channel when I move my head, ANC clipping occasionally when in a loud vehicle, and pads seem to wear in more quickly than other headphones. I still am impressed by the otherwise excellent performance, however i am getting an exchange and will update again soon. Edit 2: Replacement unit has no audible issues. However i have noticed that after a very short amount of time the pads deform permanently. This is likely due to the (probably) low density foam used, and could be detrimental to sound quality in the long term. Edit 3: Accidentally put a little too much force when squeezing these into a bag, the bracket held to the band by a single screw and some adhesive kinda just fell apart. Pushed it back together but theres a small gap there now. Maybe this headband isnt so well built. Edit 4: Returned under RMA. ANC clips too easily and the build is not good enough to use long term. Im now back on the old AKG N700ncm2.

> 3 dayI bought these headphones because they are the most recommended bluetooth set on the internet. I guess I just disagree with everyone on the internet because these did not impress me at all. $400 is by far the most money ive ever spent on headphones and these are not even in the top 5 of best headphones ive owned. I have a $50 gaming headset (hyperXcloud) that sound better than these. My airpod pros (2nd gen) also deliver better sound quality. My Between Pros also sound better. Earbuds should not be outperforming the supposedly best headphones on the market. Pros: They are very comfortable and the ANC is among the best on the market. The connectivity and app are flawless. Phone calls are also crisp and clear both ways. Ive had 0 problems with any glitchy stuff happening. Cons: The sound, while clear, is flat and quiet. It honestly sounds like the sound coming out of your phone, just in a headphone enviroment. If you like bass then dont buy these. Im not even a huge bass guy but I like to hear bass where there is supposed to be bass. It sounds like the bass is somewhere far off in a distance. I youtubed all the EQ settings on these and got them to sound fractionally better but nowhere near where a $400 headset should. I know sound is subjective and this is merely my opinion. But after a quick google search of sony XM5s sound terrible there were plenty of others that agree. If these are in fact the best the bluetooth headset market has to offer, then im extremely unimpressed. 3 stars because the connectivity, comfort and ANC is truly top tier. However, the #1 thing a premium headset should do is sound premium. These do not. I will be returning these and looking elsewhere for a headset.

> 3 dayAmazing sound quality and comfort. The app is also great as it allows you to fully customize and control the sound to best fit your sound preference.
