> 24 hourSo Im an old school Sony user. In the last half decade I switched over to Beats. My last set of beats got messed up, not the products fault, but my kids ...you know how the story goes. So I was in the market for a new set and I decided to go for over the ear this time instead of in ear. After much research, ie. endless youtube videos, instead of going with Beats again I went with these Sony ones; the WH1000XM3. I kick my self that I ever left Sony, the grass isnt always greener. These head phones produce great sound for the price. There are songs Ive listened to for years and never heard the deeper fainter sounds in those tracks till now. Blow my mind, couldnt believe it. As for the noise cancellation, epic. My kids do tests behind my back to see how loud they can be before I hear it. Im talking banging table and chairs and yelling. I dont hear a thing. I actually have to let everyone in the house know when Im putting them on as you wont be able to hear anyone calling for you with these on ...or anyone sneaking up to hear either, theyve done that as well, they think theyre funny when they scare me half to hell.

> 24 hourI had bought a pair of Bose QC35s a few weeks back and was utterly unimpressed for the price. The noise cancelling was good, they were comfortable, but I found the sound quality to be disappointing for the price. The sound was tinny, and the bass (especially hits from drums) was terrible. I also found that the noise cancelling impacted my inner ears. The juice didnt seem like it was worth the squeeze.

> 24 hourI’m a headphone aficionado. I tried to buy them on Amazon but they weren’t available. I ended up buying them at another retailer. I have the Bose 700’s (bought at Amazon) and there is absolutely no comparison. Don’t get me wrong the Bose are great but the Sony’s are usually my go to. Connects to BT seamlessly’ and the sound is incredible. I saw the comments about cracks appearing in the plastic but I didn’t care. I will just be very careful. I have all the top true wireless ear buds Sennheiser, Bose, Master & Dynamics their ok for certain situation but it’s difficult not to use the Sony’s. I’ve always bought Sony electronics and shy’d away a couple of years ago but these headphones are the best!!!!!

> 24 hourI used these on flights of 5 hours and 4 hours. They did a great job of blocking the jet engine noise as well as the cockpit announcements. They were also quite comfortable. I have had some odd experiences with the adaptive sound control setting. After awhile, I have experienced a loud hum that would only stop after turning that setting off. I have no idea what adaptive sound control means, regardless. Settings like atmospheric pressure optimizing and surround (VPT) dont mean too much to me either.
