First using them. Havent removed them yet but so far I am very pleased with them.

Very sturdy and well made. However, the crazy warm winter ruined sap season in our area this year. Hopefully will get more use next year.

make sure you have the drill bit . this one came with the kit . I used a hand drill but a cordless would have helped. Also mark the bit with a marker or tape for depth. The sap was dripping out as soon as I thumped it in so make sure the cleaned buckets are ready. If you use a plastic bucket bungie it to the tree or its self strong winds might blow it away before it fills with sap. Once sap flows strong make sure you check every day I was getting more than 2 gallons out of the big trees. They came out easy enough with using plyers turn back and forth then pull. Tree show little sign of damage now in August. Wash everything in bleach and dry fully before storing it in one of the top buckets youll do alright. Always make sure you sugar down the sap to syrup outside until you reach the 1/4 point. The darker it is the sweeter its going to be. Easer than putting up jam.
