> 3 dayGreat big easy to read ruler. Both metric and Imperial measurement. Just one thing though, watch your fingers as it is a metal strip not plastic used to make the measure tape.

> 3 dayDoes what a tape should and can be extended quite a way before collapsing unlike cheaper ones. Survived a few drops from height with no damage.

> 3 dayFor the money this is a good product - at least the money I paid for it which, was on an Amazon deal. I think I paid about a fiver for it which is a fair price. I wouldnt pay much more for it because there are plenty of alternatives, some with names and some without that are of equal quality. Anyway, as a tape it appears to be accurate enough for building and carpentry work and isnt some massive thing you cant carry. At 8m it is long enough for most measurements you will need to do in a house and on site. Quality is mid range and the five quid I paid completely reasonable. I wouldnt spend much more because these things get lost and damaged regardless of how well made they are. Overall, a pretty decent bit of kit for the money.

> 3 dayExcellent tape measure with both metric and imperial measurements possible. Easy to read and of good quality as you would expect from a Stanley tool. Because of the 8 meter capability it’s quite large and heavier than the average tape measure but I haven’t found that a problem. Good item

> 3 dayThis tape is wider than most Ive used, making it a lot easier to read. I pulled it out to measure a 9 ft space and it stayed out horizontally in the air. Very impressive. The lock sticks firmly down, so the tape doesnt move or slip back into the casing. Nice rubber texture on the outside so its easy to hold. Excellent product

> 3 dayI abuse tape measures like truckers and ladies of the night, this Stanley has lasted through some heavy use, I dropped it in a bucket of polyester resin. Then threw it in some acetone for a few minutes and it still works and is legible so will buy another once this one walks off.
