Stanley, best measures in the world for me. However, it is true, I went cheap on this one just because my longer living Stanley broke on me. Price cuts in somewhere of course - if you use a tape measure, say once a month for a few measures, fine. If you are a DIY and sometimes start working where you need a measure twenty or thirty times a day - or just like measuring things - do not get this as it is a brilliant price for a fairly priced piece, but you will feel its lack of quality. It measures, but does not offer a feel of quality or long term strength. However, in my view it should not as it costs far less than it looks - and that is fair compensation.

Excellent tape measure, very strong so you can measure up to 3 or 4 meters horizontally in the air before it bends. 8m is plenty for me, I usually use 6 meters or less.

I now have 3 tapes in 3 strategic locations so I always have one near at hand when needed. This is the second of these I have bought. It is sturdy and truly fit for purpose and at just over £6, a fair price. Smart looking as well

Needed a replacement so this looked fine. For me personally I find it a bit heavy so I dont love it but I went for the longer tape over a shorter one that I had before. Had to put my name on it though as most workmen use these and they nearly picked mine up.
