StarTech SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Cable is great.

This cable connects a monitor with usb 3.0 ports to a desktop computer. The length is exactly what I need and they work perfectly.

I find it necessary if there is a considerable length between your PC and the place you intend to keep your external hard drive. Quite flexible.

Bought to use with a Hornettek USB3 dual-disk enclosure (also from Amazon) which included only a very short USB3 lead. Works just fine (and its blue, like USB3). What else is there to say?

This cable was meant for a traktor audio 6 sound card because the developer advised using 3.0 ports, so i assumed 3.0 cable would contribute to a performance gain. But no turns out usb B 2.0 and USB B 3.0 arent the same at all... how can they give this the label of being universally backward compatible? Really disappointed in the engineers behind this. That said starTech and Amazon were both great, Ive got lots of other cables from startech through amazon and theyre all functional, with appropriate price tags for the most part. Although there has been some big jumps, probably just have our Dollar to thank for that though
