absolutely amazing heavy paper sketchbook... one of the very view available in tan colour (maybe the only one)

The paper is great, the grey serves as an excellent middle ground-you can then go light and dark.

Excellent for gouache!!! I loved the thickness of the paper and the size. High quality! Will definitely repurchase.

Good heavy covering suitable for painting on or leaving plain. The paper is nice and thick with enough texture to provide satisfaction in painting.

My most favorite art journal! The paper is great for all kinds of media, and Ive never had a problem with anything bleeding through to the other side of the paper. I also love the hard cover, it holds up well to the rough treatment better than any other art journal Ive had.

Probably my favorite that Ive used so far since its prompted me to buy it nearly 3x. Can handle many wet washes too (I think I pretreated some pages though - by wetting it, then letting it dry flattened).

Has a hard cover and paper is as stated. Im using Tombo, gauche paints Have fun. Michaels used to carry these but not anymore.

I think that the quality of the paper is pretty good, despite some buckling when wet. But the main reasons that I will not buy this sketchbook again are 1) it doesn’t lay flat and 2) the pages are only one sided and the smooth sides of the pages are back to back. Basically you get a watercolor spread then a smooth spread, watercolor spread, and so on. Hopefully that makes sense.
