just the right shade of gray to work darker and lighter. This is my favorite toned paper. Its heavy enough to take paint and strong enough to erase and rework. I love it

Good, heavy, acid free paper that will take multiple layers of wax pastel.

I love this paper! It can handle many layers of watercolor with colored pencil, Ive also done heavy detailed gouache paintings with no issues. Havent tried acrylic but it may even be able to handle that too. Very thick. I saw a low review for the paper falling out, it obviously is not meant to be used like a sketchbook. Its a storage book for paper that youll take out and work with somewhere else, like on a board. The fact that it comes out easily is a plus for me, no risk of tearing edges and both sides are the same with no perforations.

I received my package ahead of schedule. I really love using toned paper. I can do so much more with this mixed media paper because of the durability. Im sure I will be coming back for more.

I am so glad I tried this mixed media pad. I use it for many things from art journaling to black and white ink sketches. Highly recommended. I will buy again.
