> 24 hourI’ve used a regular umbrella for sun protection (which was still a little sheer) , but I first saw one of these (with the extra silver coating) on a Japanese travel you tube video. I feel like it gives way more protection from the sun. I use a high SPF as well. Had to figure out the one button open and close, but I’m very happy with it so far. The carry case cover sleeve has thick strings so u can drape over your shoulder or attach to a backpack.

> 24 hourReally like this. I go hiking in sunny Southern California so this becomes super handy for it is lightweight, small but just big enough. It withstands the winds and I love the wrist handle which prevents the umbrella from suddenly flying away. It makes all the difference in super hot sunny weather. I feel like a shady tree is following me around.

> 24 hourI used this umbrella on the hottest day of the trip. It blocked the sun and kept me cool. It was a bit on the heavier side and being that I have an old injury on my shoulder carrying it in my backpack did become and issue if I was carrying it there. Other than that it was perfect. Loved it and used it in areas where there was absolutely no shade to sit and eat or drink. I love this umbrella so much!

> 24 hourIt blocks the sun really well, and thats why I bought it, but it advertised slots to prevent wind issues. I found mild wind turned it inside out just as with typical cheap umbrellas. I like the button that closes as well as opens. I am satisfied.

> 24 hourI got this for my mom so she can keep a little cooler on long walks. Its definitely shiny and reflective, but I guess I expected it to be more lightweight or portable or something because its supposedly for sun rather than rain. I havent weighed it or anything, but just by feel, other than the shininess it seems pretty indistinguishable from other (usually cheaper) travel umbrellas.

> 24 hourWeve only had these a week but my sister and I take them on daily walks. We both avoid the sun but find hats quite hot and not quite adequate for full face and neck coverage. These umbrellas have what appears to be a very sturdy mechanism for opening and closing and definitely not only keep you from sunburn but also make a mini cool climate. I use a larger version for days when Im alone walking gardens or touring but this smaller size is perfect for travel and for walking with someone who has their own umbrella. Its also handy when the park where we go had the sprinklers running. So far so good. I will say that they are a little heavier than many travel sized umbrellas but I hope that speaks to the metal being sturdy. The last version I had was much lighter broke after very few times being used.

> 24 hourWe took it with us to the three day long MotoGP event, although we were expecting it to be much hotter in Austin Texas for late April the weather was suprisingly cool and on one day a bit windy. But when the sun did its thing on Saturday and Sunday afternoon the umbrella came out and WOW!!!! how things changed in that there was a significant change in the thermal condition if you were underneath it. What a repreave from the UV rays and heat. The folks that were behind the umbrella did say that the heat being radiated from the umbrella was noticeable as was the light being reflected from it too. so we had to use discretion when we used it so as to not inflict discomfort on those surrounding us. But if we had not been in a crowd this product did exactly what it was intended to do KEEP THE HEAT DOWN and the UV RAYS AWAY! Thanks for this product. Will use it again.
