> 3 dayWe took it with us to the three day long MotoGP event, although we were expecting it to be much hotter in Austin Texas for late April the weather was suprisingly cool and on one day a bit windy. But when the sun did its thing on Saturday and Sunday afternoon the umbrella came out and WOW!!!! how things changed in that there was a significant change in the thermal condition if you were underneath it. What a repreave from the UV rays and heat. The folks that were behind the umbrella did say that the heat being radiated from the umbrella was noticeable as was the light being reflected from it too. so we had to use discretion when we used it so as to not inflict discomfort on those surrounding us. But if we had not been in a crowd this product did exactly what it was intended to do KEEP THE HEAT DOWN and the UV RAYS AWAY! Thanks for this product. Will use it again.

> 3 dayThe umbrella is flimsy and wabbles around the handle part almost like it’ll fall off soon. It’s also really difficult to close, I needed both hands and it was still hard. The coverage part was really great, it’s just built poorly and not very efficient. I will be returning it.

> 3 dayIt blocks the sun really well, and thats why I bought it, but it advertised slots to prevent wind issues. I found mild wind turned it inside out just as with typical cheap umbrellas. I like the button that closes as well as opens. I am satisfied.

> 3 dayI purchased this umbrella back in April, though it took me a while to get past feeling conspicuous and actually use it. Thanks to the brutal, record-setting stretch of triple-digits days weve had for the past several months, Ive largely gotten over my self-consciousness and have used this umbrella frequently. While it isnt a miracle worker (you wont feel 10 degrees cooler under it, for instance), it does keep you from being seared alive while walking across a hot parking lot. I have noticed that the fabric appears rather thin; the sun is clearly visible when you look up through the canopy. But my biggest complaint is the flimsy aluminum spokes. In under four months of use, one spoke snapped in two upon opening. This, of course, caused the umbrella to open haphazardly. I managed to still use it by pulling down the awkwardly jutting side. Several other spokes have sinced snapped and the umbrella now completely flips up when opened and is unusable. Im now back to being seared while walking across parking lots. This sun umbrella was nice while it lasted, but Im not sure that Im ready to plunk down another $30 for such a cheaply made product.

> 3 dayIt’s good for the price I use it on a daily when the sun is out “car salesmen” but after a few days of using, it did have about 4 small holes. I did not drop it or anything, overall good product.

> 3 daySo Im a cancer patient. Supposed to stay out of sun. I used this umbrella for the 5 hours I was outside in constant overcast with drizzle conditions in florida. I did not put on additional sunblock. My shoulders, neck, face, and head were extremely burnt when I returned indoors. Ill keep the umbrella for rain showers because it is compact... but please do not make my mistake and think you can substitute for needing high spf coverage sunblock or a long sleeve and a hat.

> 3 dayThis is a very nice, sturdy, and properly sized umbrella. Some umbrellas like this are very large and tedious to carry. Not this one. Also, the material is of high quality and is very effective in shielding you from the suns rays.
