> 3 dayThis umbrella is a perfect size to carry around everyday. It’s of mid weight — not light or heavy. I love the auto open/close button on the handle. It looks like it’s made of durable materials & it feels very sturdy — very well constructed. Most importantly it blocks the strong Hawaiian sun’s UV. The black color interior of the umbrella actually makes it feel you are walking underneath a shade—it effectively blocks the sun’s afternoon heat. Knocked off 1 star because even with the vent, a strong breeze flipped it inside out which I was hoping wouldn’t happen because Hawaii’s strong winds are pretty normal in any time of the year. Still I like this umbrella & glad I bought it.

> 3 dayWe took it with us to the three day long MotoGP event, although we were expecting it to be much hotter in Austin Texas for late April the weather was suprisingly cool and on one day a bit windy. But when the sun did its thing on Saturday and Sunday afternoon the umbrella came out and WOW!!!! how things changed in that there was a significant change in the thermal condition if you were underneath it. What a repreave from the UV rays and heat. The folks that were behind the umbrella did say that the heat being radiated from the umbrella was noticeable as was the light being reflected from it too. so we had to use discretion when we used it so as to not inflict discomfort on those surrounding us. But if we had not been in a crowd this product did exactly what it was intended to do KEEP THE HEAT DOWN and the UV RAYS AWAY! Thanks for this product. Will use it again.

> 3 dayDont bother. This thing is useless. If there is even the lightest of breezes it inverts itself. Unless you live somewhere with zero air movement, this will not help you stay out of the sun or rain or anything.

> 3 dayDoes have a slight plastic smell, but it’s not overpowering or strong at all. The umbrella works well enough at protecting you from the sun. It was easy to open, but a little harder to close. Have not used very many times, so I can’t say whether it will last, but my initial impression is that it is of pretty good quality.

> 3 dayUV protection-Great Size-Great Turns inside out-ALWAYS. Unable to use in mildest breeze. Totally unacceptable. Otherwise, looking for replacement that can be used in real life….

> 3 dayThe umbrella mostly serves the purpose to shield majority of the sun light. But the quality of the fabric is so low, many holes are already found when the open the package the first time. The quality control is the main compliant for which I will need to return it

> 3 dayI bought this umbrella and a golf-sized uv blocker for comparison. This one is my favorite. Its a nifty size for one or two. I used it at a windy midday baseball game to fend off the desert sun as we sat on fully exposed bleachers. After an hour, we were totally sunburn-free (but thirsty from the heat and bored by the game). It really did keep us cooler and the windflap thing on top let it blow out and then pop back in place when the wind bluffed up. Having just lost a lesser umbrella to a windgust, I was really happy to see this one sturdily withstand. Its lightweight and easy to hold up, snaps back down easily and is made with quality materials. Apart from the UV blocking and wind resistance, I think my favorite part of this umbrella is how well made it is. Definitely recommend.

> 3 dayI think for the price it by it’s very durable and sturdy. The only complaint is that it is hard to pull down to close it without having to use all of your strength.
