> 3 daySo you have to press the button to open this thing, there’s no way to inch it up. So this is my problem, when I press the button it sometimes goes into “spider mode” which is to say that the top is not completely fanned out. If you move the umbrella up & down it looks like spider legs wafting about. So then I have to push the button again to close the spider, and bring it down with my hands. Then I can only open it by pressing the button. Honestly I have no idea if I have a defective product or if I just lack the magic touch. So I beg and plead with spidee and hope that when I press the button it will be like magic..eventually it is and then I’m good to go.

Greater than one weekI used this umbrella on the hottest day of the trip. It blocked the sun and kept me cool. It was a bit on the heavier side and being that I have an old injury on my shoulder carrying it in my backpack did become and issue if I was carrying it there. Other than that it was perfect. Loved it and used it in areas where there was absolutely no shade to sit and eat or drink. I love this umbrella so much!

> 3 dayThe wrist strap broke off almost instantly, but the umbrella itself works well. The open/close button on the handle works well. The sun protection absolutely makes a difference.

Greater than one weekI love this umbrella! I live in southern California and the sun is definitely intense in the summer. This blocks the sun, and I do notice that it keeps me cooler than just a standard umbrella. I have had it out on pretty windy days, too, and have never had a problem with it bending backwards. When I originally purchased, I was worried that the handle would be too small to hold comfortably, but when I used it the handle is perfect for me. I would definitely buy again!

> 3 dayGood for when walking outdoors, esp. in Florida. Not a time goes by that I am not stopped and asked where I bought it. Def. recommend.

> 3 dayI’ve used a regular umbrella for sun protection (which was still a little sheer) , but I first saw one of these (with the extra silver coating) on a Japanese travel you tube video. I feel like it gives way more protection from the sun. I use a high SPF as well. Had to figure out the one button open and close, but I’m very happy with it so far. The carry case cover sleeve has thick strings so u can drape over your shoulder or attach to a backpack.

> 3 dayThis umbrella does exactly what is meant to do! Its not exactly the most sturdy umbrella if you get a sudden gust of wind but overall its fine. It blocks the sun and protects you from the heat! Its also light weight enough to carry around in your handbag. I would recommend this for you if you find the need to protect your skin from the sun and wearing a hat may not feel like enough.

Greater than one weekThis sun umbrella does a great job of keeping off the sun and help to keep you cooler, too, since the sun isnt beating down on your head and shoulders. The only negative I would make is in the design of the umbrella itself. When you try to close it down, unless youre really careful, the ribs of the umbrella tend to dig into your hand. I actually one of the ribs break the skin on the back of my hand one time while trying to close it. Getting it all the way closed into the locked position takes some care and effort.
