TetherGuard Camera Support - 3 Pack

I bought the JerkStopper with my Tether Tools cable mostly because I am clumsy. Its already saved my camera twice. The USB port side popped right out and that little bit of slack that was in the loop kept me from toppling both my computer and my camera! A must have if you shoot tethered with any camera.

Well made product that hit the mark for the intended purpose. Should last for years to come.

When shooting tethered my cable would constantly detach from the camera. This interrupted the flow of my shoot and caused me to miss shots. This little tool solves the problem completely without placing any stress on the cable or connection. Its also easily adjustable. Highly recommended.

I have no idea what warmth or sheerness has to do with my opinion of the product. The product works as advertised.

But no reliable alternative found

Purchased this a couple of years ago (on advice from instructor on tethering) with my Tether Tools USB cable. Used my cable a lot in a studio class at the college this semester. One of the separation connectors (cable side) came off and disappeared. It was definitely not pulled out in use as it was not in the other half connected to my camera body. I am not sure if this is a common problem, because it appears to have separated from how they glued / melted the attachment to the plastic cable clamp. I was reminded by customer support that it has a 90 day warranty and there isnt anything they can do for me. If it had saved my USB port from a accidental cable pull, I would have no complaints. Im just not sure its worth another $20 to replace it. A loop in the cable and strapped to your tripod with a velcro strap could work just as well although not quite as elegant..

Works as advertised. Using it 1st time found that fix cable a bit hard.

Neat gadget, overpriced considering the same concept can be emulated a lot cheaper if you buy a clip on eBay for the quick release and detachment and just tie a knot on the cord you want to anchor.

Overhyped but works decent. Its now perfect, I still get the Disconnect and reconnect but at least I know it will always comeback.

Good Stuff! A must for Tether shooters. Keeps my camera and cable secure. Awesome! Ill recommend this to my friends.
