There are several DIY solutions to accomplish same thing and possibly do a better job. Better off saving your money unless you just want to look really professional for a client. I found that it did not hold the usb cable as securely to my camera as i had hoped it would.

If youre an amateur or a pro you got to go with tether tools. Its easy to use and thats just exactly what they advertise for. So if youre sick of your teeth are falling out when youre trying to live shoot you gotta get this.

Shooting tethered is priceless!
